Job Description

Summer is just around the corner, and we're building our team of Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors right now! Competitive Pay includes hourly rates below PLUS potential for $.25 or $.50 bonus per hour worked if you complete the season with us.

Job Responsibility

  • Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours
  • Regularly treating the pool with the correct amount of chemicals
  • Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift
  • Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions
  • Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe
  • Providing swim lessons and coaching swim team when applicable
  • Maintaining a clean pool environment

Requirements

  • Prefer candidates be 16+ years old
  • Must be able to work outside exposed to sun and heat conditions
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Must have, or be scheduled to obtain, certification before the pool opens
