Job Description

The Summer Internship is a competitively paid program and a great opportunity to gain tremendous exposure to working in Public Accounting.

Job Responsibility

  • Touches on a variety of tax, audit and accounting related tasks
  • Learning about QuickBooks
  • Working with client’s monthly accounting work
  • Preparation of sales tax returns
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns
  • Working on employee benefit audits
  • 1040 preparation
  • Shadowing with our staff accountants
  • Additional projects during the internship

Requirements

  • Be in their Junior year or entering their Senior year at the time of the internship
  • Be pursuing a bachelors degree in Accounting (150 credit hours)
  • Be available to work 8:30am - 5pm, Monday thru Thursday
  • Be available mid June through the end of July
  • Have excellent communication skills and a strong drive to start a career in public accounting
