Job Description:

The ASI Summer Internship is a 12-week, full-time, paid program (mid-May – early August) offering hands-on experience and professional growth. Interns are paired with industry experts for mentoring, work on real-world projects, and attend skill-building workshops. Opportunities are available in Avionics, Computer Systems, Cybersecurity, Electrical, Flight Dynamics, Mechanical, Visual Systems, Business Development, Logistics, IT, and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Attend workplace and life skills workshops

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to adapt communication style
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Ability to work in a project-oriented, fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Working towards a four-year degree in the required discipline
  • Must be able to successfully pass an initial background screening
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Occasional overtime and alternate shifts may be required
  • Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
