Summer Intern, MBA, Strategic Finance

• Collaborate across numerous Waymo functional teams to develop an intuitive understanding of the key drivers of Waymo’s core ride hail business
• Build financial models related to various long-term business outcomes for Waymo
• Derive strategic insights and drive business action via financial data and independent/external research
• Prepare and present materials to senior leadership

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program focused on finance, strategic management and/or technology
• 3-5 years’ experience in Finance and Business Analysis, including Corporate/Strategic Finance, Private and/or Public Equity Investing, Equity Research or other associated fields
• Financial acumen with exceptional financial modeling skills and strong familiarity with financial statements
• Strategic and critical thinking mindset: able to think multiple steps ahead on the implications of financial decisions

• Management consulting experience, particularly on engagements requiring extensive financial modeling is a plus
• Experience in valuation methodologies and principles is a plus
• Industry knowledge or interest in the rideshare, automotive, or autonomous vehicle industries is a plus
• Software or other Tech industry experience is a plus
