The AEG Internship Program provides college students with valuable real-world experience in the sports and live entertainment industry. Interns will gain exposure to fundamental concepts in entertainment law, including contract law, intellectual property rights, and licensing agreements, all of which are essential for the protection of artists and the management of live events. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to develop negotiation and drafting skills critical to success in this field.
Job Responsibility:
Review and organize contracts for artists, venues, and vendors
Assist with drafting agreements under supervision (e.g., sponsorship, licensing, or vendor contracts)
Conduct legal research on entertainment law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance
Prepare summaries or reports for internal stakeholders on contract terms or policy updates
Participate in special projects related to litigation support or policy development
Requirements:
Passion for live entertainment and music
Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and communication skills
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel) preferred
Minimum commitment of 24 hours per week during the summer
