Job Description:

The AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The intern will gain hands-on experience executing communications strategies for AXS, the global ticketing arm of AEG, and translating business objectives into clear, audience-focused messaging. They will build practical skills in content planning, performance analysis, and execution, while learning how social media, and internal and external communications efforts support broader business goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in drafting, editing, and scheduling content for social media platforms
  • Support the monitoring of engagement and performance analytics
  • help compile insights and contribute to content optimization efforts
  • Assist with broader external communications efforts and media relations, including planning, execution, and messaging development
  • Help with the development of visual content using tools like Canva (e.g., social posts, other visuals assets)
  • Support internal communications by drafting employee-facing materials and organizing content for internal channels (i.e., intranet, weekly calls, and TV screens)
  • Help support thought leadership initiatives including events, announcements, and key moments, as needed
  • Provide general team support to help ensure timely, accurate communication across the organization

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
  • General understanding of public relations, communications, and social media
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and apps such as CapCut and Canva (or similar)
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication
  • General knowledge of social media platforms
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
