Job Description

Colegio San Patricio La Moraleja, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Summer Camp Monitor to join our teaching team on a temporary basis. From June 22 to July 24 and Monday to Friday. Start time 8:00 and finish time 17:00. From 375€ gross/week.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise groups of children and ensure their safety, well-being, and positive participation in camp activities
  • Plan, organize, and lead games and recreational activities appropriate for the children’s ages
  • Create and complete arts and crafts projects with campers, encouraging creativity and participation
  • Assist with pool activities by supervising children and helping maintain safety rules
  • Support and lead outdoor activities such as sports, group games, and exploration
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all campers
  • Monitor children’s behavior and address conflicts in a positive and constructive manner
  • Communicate any concerns regarding campers’ safety, health, or behavior to the camp coordinator
  • Help set up and clean up materials and activity spaces

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in camps, schools, childcare, or similar environments preferred
  • Sex offender certificate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and organize group activities and games
  • Responsible, energetic, and patient
  • Ability to work outdoors and participate in physical activities
