Requirements:

  • Law students from around the country with unique skill sets, varied life experiences, and a proven record of personal and academic achievement
  • Factors considered include previous work experience, demonstrated undergraduate and law school excellence, law review participation, significant writing and oral communication experience, moot court or mock trial experience, comparable extracurricular activities, professionalism, and contributions to the community
  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • Excellent writing skills
  • For IP roles: technical backgrounds in any science/engineering field that qualify students to take the Patent Bar Exam, especially electrical engineering, computer engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, and other related fields

Nice to have:

  • Prior industry experience
  • Patent prosecution experience
  • Patent registration number
  • For IP roles: technical backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science physics, an advanced degree in Chemistry, a Ph.D. degree in any science/engineering field
