Enel North America's PowerPlay Summer Program provides meaningful, hands-on experience across a variety of disciplines at a multicultural company. Through this summer program, the Associates contribute to real-world projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and support Enel’s mission to build a sustainable, innovative, and electrified future. The program fosters professional development, cross-functional exposure, and engagement in impactful work. The Position will support the Business Development Team by driving key initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen organizational capabilities, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality services across the business. The team collaborates cross‑functionally to support strategic priorities and enable long‑term growth. The Position’s main objective is to identify actions to improve plant performance. This is a full-time summer intern/associate role from May-August. The role is hybrid to the Andover, MA office.
Job Responsibility:
Support day to day team operations, analysis, and project execution.
Conduct research, data collection, and reporting to assist business decisions.
Prepare presentations, dashboards, and documentation for internal stakeholders.
Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.
Assist with process improvements and help identify opportunities for efficiency.
Collaborate cross functionally with other teams and associate across the organization.
Help maintain accurate records, files, and project tracking tools.
Contribute to Enel’s culture of safety, sustainability, and innovation
Build and maintain financial models for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, storage), including sensitivities on key drivers such as pricing, capex, opex, and financing structures to support investment decisions
Support commercial, technical, and regulatory due diligence by analyzing project data, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors, and synthesizing findings into clear recommendations
Develop and manage detailed assumption books, documenting key inputs, methodologies, and sources to ensure consistency, transparency, and auditability across project evaluations
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a BS/BA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, Finance, Communications, or possess relevant real‑world experience that demonstrates strong analytical, communication, or project‑support capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, operations, technology, or related fields.
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
