Job Description:

Citi’s Banking Group is looking for a 2026 Summer Analyst to join the Canadian Corporate Banking Corporates team. The Summer Analyst Program starts in early June and includes an introductory training program in New York. The successful candidate will help assist with originating revenues from our most valued clients across the globe and gain exposure to a full spectrum of corporate banking products and solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with originating revenues from our most valued clients across the globe
Analyze and develop an understanding of the bank’s customers/prospects including their financial condition, risk profile, industry and business activities
Research specific companies and industries along with performing due diligence on financing and advisory transactions
Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital markets analysis
Liaise with product partners to prepare marketing material for presentations
Maintain and develop specific comparable and precedent transaction databases
Develop and maintain industry knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry developments
Coordinate with credit support staff to ensure that annual reviews are completed as required
Assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients including written presentations and the development of information memoranda
Develop an understanding of interpreting legal documents

Requirements:

Planning to obtain your undergraduate degree between December 2026 and June 2027
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of financial statements
Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of financial, risk and structuring analysis
Ability to build excellent relationship management skills through superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to simultaneously manage numerous tasks and deadlines
Well-developed financial modeling skills
Strong team player with the ability to contribute to a positive working environment

Nice to have:
