Job Description:

Summer Analyst position in the Investment Banking Financial Strategy Group (FSG) in New York for the Summer of 2027. The Financial Strategy Group is a multidisciplinary Investment Banking product group that integrates quantitative analysis into traditional corporate finance and credit advisory. The team provides rigorous, data-driven, and actionable strategic corporate finance advice to Citi’s corporate, financial institution, and public sector clients globally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work on live client engagements
  • Run models independently
  • Develop recommendations
  • Prepare client materials
  • Work on teams with both junior and senior bankers
  • Work on the creation of new analytical content for advisory work

Requirements:

  • Graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 with a bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, computer science, finance, mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative field
  • GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Outstanding record of academic achievement
  • Genuine interest in the world of finance
  • Hard-working, organized, proactive, and methodical
  • Clear communication in speech, writing, and presentations
  • Experience working with data
  • Enjoy finding creative solutions to difficult, unstructured problems
  • Firm grasp of accounting, computer science, economics, finance, or statistics
