The Suite Supervisor position is responsible for supporting all suites food and beverage operations at Ball Arena.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in supporting, training, and counseling of staff
Directly managing staff while having direct interaction with VIP customers and maintain high suites quality service
Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory and orders
Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures
Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality
Ensure all credit card cash and billing procedures are documented and enforced
Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
Conduct physical audit of inventory and product. Research and perform reconciliations
Requirements:
Experience in Premium Service
High School Diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience working with a POS system, TAPIN 2 preferred
Customer service and communication
Fast paced problem solving
Must be personable, proactive and self-motivated
Organized and ability to jump from task to task and prioritize as needed
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to adapt to change quickly
Punctual and dependable
Must be able to read and maintain information
Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
Able to move fast and act on assigned duties
Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance
Ability to occasionally lift, carry and put away stock weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to push hotboxes and carts with push weights of up to 50 pounds. Able to kneel and bend to stock floor level refrigerators
Ability to sit and use computer workstation, including keyboard and visual display terminal, for extended periods of time
Finger, hand, and wrist dexterity
Comfortable working in a loud environment with music, announcements, pyrotechnics and flashing lights
Comfortable walking the majority of the shift to access kitchens Theater boxes, suites, this may include stairs between 1 and 2 and ramps

Get Servsafe certified
Available for 75% of events at Ball Arena primarily weekends, nights, and holidays without mandatory events each month (eg: Christmas, NYE, playoffs, NCAA, season openers and high volume shows) This may involve late nights to midnight
Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you
