Job Description

The Suites Expediter plays a critical role in bridging the front of house and back of house operations to ensure flawless food execution and premium guest experiences. This position coordinates communication between culinary and service teams, monitors food quality and presentation, and leads food runners to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and maintains a focus on consistency, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the primary communicator between kitchen staff and service teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation, ensuring proper cooking sequence, portion accuracy, and adherence to Legends’ quality standards
  • Lead and direct food runners, ensuring coordinated and timely delivery of orders to suites and premium areas
  • Follow opening and closing procedures, including food preparation assignments and operational checklists
  • Ensure food safety by maintaining proper temperatures, cleanliness, and sanitation in all work areas
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of kitchen spaces, including shelves, walls, floors, drains, and equipment
  • Handle kitchen equipment carefully and safely, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding service and seamless event execution
  • Uphold company standards for appearance, grooming, and uniform compliance
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • culinary training preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant, club, or hospitality environment required
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with the capacity to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting
  • Must be able to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs. regularly
