Serve as a key part of the game-day team at PNC Field by delivering attentive, professional, and personalized food and beverage service to guests in the suite areas and other hospitality areas during RailRiders events. This role focuses on ensuring suites are properly set up and stocked, fulfilling food and beverage requests in a timely manner, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards, and providing an elevated guest experience in a fast-paced, high-energy sports environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide attentive, professional in-suite food and beverage service to all guests
Review suite orders, event details, and guest instructions prior to each event
Prepare suites prior to each event, ensuring all food and beverages are properly stocked, organized, and presentation-ready
Maintain suite presentation and cleanliness throughout the event
Execute guest orders accurately and in a timely manner, coordinating with the kitchen team as needed
Monitor and replenish suite inventory throughout the event to maintain service standards
Assist with catering functions and demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple service roles as needed, including bartender, server, and catering support
Uphold responsible alcohol service standards at all times in compliance with company and PLCB regulations
Process additional orders through POS systems and ensure accurate billing
Clear suites post-event, ensuring proper storage and disposal of items
Assit with promotional and upselling initiatives, including desserts and beverage features
Complete all opening and closing duties assigned by the Managers
Maintain clear communication with Managers and Kitchen Staff to ensure efficient operations
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or event operations preferred
Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices is an asset
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong customer service and communication skills
Detail oriented and able to perform independently while supporting the team
Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering superior service
Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and carrying food or beverage trays throughout event service
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20-25lbs
Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting while setting up or serving guests
Must work indoors and outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures and crowded conditions
Requires clear vision and speech to communicate effectively and ensure safe service
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
