Job Description:

Join the founder's high-performing counseling team as a Success Coach at ESM Prep. Build meaningful relationships with students, help them navigate high school, and guide them through the college application process. Work on a small, tight-knit team under direct mentorship from the founder, learning college admissions counseling from an industry expert.

Job Responsibility:

Build meaningful relationships with students
Help students navigate high school
Guide students through college application process
Complete Common App, UT App, UC App, and other applications
Discuss SAT/ACT testing paths
Help students build well-rounded college lists
Support students in development of college essays
Manage academic and extracurricular decisions throughout high school journey
Provide thoughtful mentorship ensuring social and emotional well-being
Manage student caseload with ownership over execution and implementing strategic direction

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of full-time, high-accountability professional work experience
Exceptional communication skills
Basic understanding of the modern college search and application process
Dynamic coaching personality and ability to build relationships
Desire to mentor students over multiple years
Collaborative, team-oriented, and proactive
Exceptional executive functioning and data management
Reliable internet access
Located in Pacific Time Zone (PST) or Mountain Time Zone with ability to adhere to PST hours
Extreme flexibility for work hours including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends during peak seasons

Nice to have:

Direct experience in college counseling
Expertise with Google Slides/PowerPoint
Public speaking skills
