As a Substitute Paraprofessional, you serve as the essential “second-in-command” to a lead teacher. Job Responsibility:
Collaborating: Partnering with lead full-time teachers to keep daily routines on track and students engaged
Instructional Support: Leading “breakout” sessions or providing 1-on-1 guidance to students who need an extra boost
Classroom Management: Helping maintain a positive, focused learning environment for diverse learners
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (any major) OR at least 90 college credits
Willingness to pass a standard background check and TB test
Dependable, empathetic mindset and a genuine desire to support student success
For the Undergrad Track: must hold the CA CL-505d Emergency Permit for Prospective Teachers
