Our Substitutes are essential! You will be our go-to support system, stepping in to run our engaging after-school programs when regular staff are out. If you are patient, upbeat, and ready to help elementary keiki succeed on a flexible schedule, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Responsibility

  • On-Call Availability: Work weekday afternoons (approx. 1:30 PM–5:30 PM) when a regular Group Leader has a scheduled or unscheduled day off
  • Active Leadership: When you’re called in, you’ll lead groups of school-age children (ages 5–10) through games, outdoor sports, and arts & crafts
  • Proactive Mentorship: Provide supportive homework assistance and positive behavior guidance, ensuring a consistent and nurturing environment
  • Active Supervision: Maintain a highly supervised, organized, and safe environment—ready to step into any program site and show your team spirit
