Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design process on complex projects to ensure all design solutions meet client needs, quality standards, and project goals
  • Prepare and review design documentation, create and review detailed drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and feasibility
  • Maintain project documentation including scoping documents, design inputs, quality checklists, and project filing systems
  • Oversee scope and quality review processes for your projects ensuring adherence to client specifications and high-quality standards
  • Proactively monitor and resolve any technical issues or challenges throughout the project lifecycle while managing time effectively to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of industry-standard design practices, codes, and regulations
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful execution of large, complex projects
  • At least 5 years of experience designing power delivery systems
  • Proven track record in successfully executing large and complex projects
  • Passion for design excellence, with a focus on detail and quality assurance
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong communicator with ability to engage with clients and cross-functional teams effectively
  • Proficient with business and engineering applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is a must

  • Some college education is preferred but not required

  • Prepares engineering studies, plans, specifications, evaluations, cost estimates, construction bills of material, construction drawings, permitting and assessments for a variety of engineering design projects, based on coordination with client, their engineers, architects, and contractors
  • Provides CAD work for substation drawings that include site plan views, elevations, foundation and grounding details, wiring diagram, and schematics
