Job Description:

The Maintenance High Voltage Fitter will be responsible for carrying out remedial works, maintenance, and service on electrical equipment such as Transformers and Switchgear across various client sites in the UK.

Job Responsibility:

  • Service, maintain and repair HV, LV, Transformers, Switchgear, and associated equipment
  • Produce detailed quality and daily site reports
  • Carry out electrical testing and fault finding
  • Carry out mechanical modifications and repairs
  • Conduct routine PPM to a manufacturer’s standard
  • Report equipment faults proactively
  • Install HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturers' standard

Requirements:

  • BTEC in Electrical Engineering
  • Thorough understanding of Electrical Power Systems up to 33KV
  • Good Transformer knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to work proactively as part of a team
  • Must be eligible for SC/CTC clearance and DBS Check
  • Full UK Driving Licence
