This role supports the delivery of a major offshore infrastructure program, combining onshore engineering, planning and site-based activities with offshore execution support. As the project progresses, the position will involve increasing time offshore on construction vessels to oversee installation activities and contractor performance.
Job Responsibility:
Provide engineering oversight and assurance for contractor execution, including review of project and contractor documentation
Review transport and installation engineering deliverables and manage technical interfaces across contractors, suppliers, and third parties
Coordinate closely with offshore installation contractor engineers to align equipment, site interfaces, and execution requirements
Supervise offshore installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, approved procedures, and HSE standards
Act as the company field representative onboard construction vessels, supporting daily coordination, reporting, and interface management
Ensure activities follow permit, emergency response, and management of change processes during offshore execution.
Requirements:
5–15 years’ experience on comparable offshore construction projects with Tier 1 contractors or oil & gas operators
Proven senior engineering experience offshore, including work on construction vessels
Engineering degree (or equivalent), with ability to hold required offshore certifications
deep water subsea T&I experience is an advantage
