Job Description

We are seeking a Planner with strong expertise in Subsea Systems who can support multiple offshore facility scopes at varying stages of maturity across a diverse capital projects portfolio.

Job Responsibility

  • Logical Planning and Scheduling of work scope activities
  • Development of Basis of Schedule
  • Schedule Analysis, trending, management of changes and schedule contingency
  • Schedule Risk Management including Risk Analysis
  • Development and Maintenance of Project Schedules
  • Schedule Benchmarking across the scope of works
  • Progress and Performance Measurement
  • Develops and maintains detailed work plans and project execution schedules for FEED and Phase 4 Execution, aligned to Capital Project phases and handover requirements
  • Articulates schedule issues
  • proposes preventative or mitigation measures for effective schedule risk management
  • Proactively and independently works with stakeholders to identify project schedule related opportunities
  • Leads schedule and planning reports efforts including variance and trending analysis
  • Lead risk and opportunity-based Schedule Scenario Analysis
  • Perform probabilistic schedule risk analysis (Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivities, scenarios planning) to quantify schedule uncertainties and drive contingency decisions
  • Collaborates with Cost to implement Work (WBS), Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS) for the selected work scopes and for predictable schedule and cost forecasting
  • Reviews, validates, & challenges contractors’ contract schedules, schedule risks and opportunities, trends with Delivery Teams and Supply Chain Management team prior to their integration into the planning system for selected work scopes
  • Assist with Business Planning updates, monthly reporting, and funding requests
  • Leads scheduling Benchmarking, incorporation of lessons learned, & establish Competitive Performance targets for project cycle time and selected work scopes
  • Contribute to closeout reports for key contracts and work orders incorporating schedule benchmarking for selected work scopes

  • Support long-term deliberate and emergent operational planning such as Mission Analysis, Course of Action selection, Wargaming, and Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) development for the fielding of autonomous and subsea seabed warfare systems
  • Provide support to the CSP Staff in the development of TUSW directives including TUSWC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), TUSW doctrine, CONOPS, TUSW Operational Tasking (OPTASKs), orders and intentions messages
  • Support CSP Maritime Operations Center (MOC) at planning conferences, workshops, seminars, war-games, etc., as required to further Undersea Warfare (USW) requirements, doctrine, training, and readiness
  • Support data collection and development of assessments and lessons learned during the execution of ongoing operations, exercises and Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) events
  • Support development of interim doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy analysis (DOTmLPF-P) measures in support of higher headquarters (HHQ) tasking to urgently field RAS/SSW systems at scale
  • Serve as principal assistant to CSP staff lead for responses to Combatant Commander and Fleet Planning Orders (PLANORDs) and Execution Orders (EXORDs) in the fielding of new and current RAS/SSW capabilities
  • Support execution and sustainment of the Under Sea Enterprise (USE) Hybrid Fleet Campaign Plan which leads to the development, integration, fielding, and sustainment of RAS and SSW platforms
  • Serve as an active member for CSP Force Development Board to interact with vendor proposals and their capabilities. Specifically, how they fit within the USE and opportunities for operational alignment
