We are now hiring in North York!! Are you eager and excited to start a new job as a sublimination machine operator ? Randstad Canada is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients specializing in sports apparel customization & retail experience technology connecting consumers with authentic products & engaging customization experiences. We are currently hiring for sublimination machine operator for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate. If you are a student on academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do general labor work, we can hire you! Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00 am -4:30pm Pay rate: $20/hr

Job Responsibility:

  • Set up and operate sublimation presses according to standard operating procedures
  • Load and unload substrates (up to 50lbs of unbacked polyester fabric) onto the press
  • Adjust press settings, including temperature and time, to achieve desired results (preventing any bleeding and ghosting)
  • Monitor the sublimation process to ensure optimal quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished products for defects, color accuracy, bleeding, ghosting and overall appearance
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the sublimation process
  • Implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards
  • Organize and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals and equipment
  • Wear appropriate safety shoes

Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years of previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in sublimation printing, is preferred
  • Basic understanding of sublimation printing techniques and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues efficiently
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
  • Clear criminal record check
