Job Description

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), your role is integral to the organization's success, requiring you to leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements. You play a crucial role in driving technological advancements and providing subject matter expertise in the SAP Source to Pay area. One of your primary responsibilities involves engaging with stakeholders, including business leaders, solution and technical architects, project managers, and end-users, to understand requirements and challenges thoroughly. This collaboration extends to designing, reviewing, and architecting solutions that address identified needs within IKEA's technology-process-delivery ecosystem. You are actively involved in providing SAP functional and technical guidance in Procure to Pay (P2P) area to development teams, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices and standards. Troubleshooting, analyzing defects, and offering preventive actions for potential issues are also part of your daily tasks. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is crucial to ensure proposed solutions meet both technical and business requirements. In terms of strategy and roadmap, you analyze the current landscape, goals, and challenges to suggest continuous improvement and innovation. You anticipate future hurdles and develop mitigation strategies while staying updated on relevant technologies to bring new solutions to the table. In the realm of SAP technical and functional expertise, you demonstrate proficiency in designing and architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance Procure to Pay solutions. You will develop a deep understanding of IKEA's business processes and you have relevant industry and Procure to Pay domain understanding. Integration technologies, security principles, analytical skills, and adherence to regulatory compliance are all part of your expertise. Delivering results is a key focus, where you ensure successful technology implementation with acceptability across all hierarchies. As an individual contributor, you leverage hands-on expertise to deliver impactful results, documenting and optimizing business processes while mentoring junior team members. You will work closely with our business process experts, contributing with your experience in your SAP domain. Problem-solving and decision-making are critical aspects of your role, requiring the application of critical thinking to navigate complex issues and make informed decisions based on data and stakeholder input. Stakeholder management is also vital, as you work with enterprise and domain architects and business stakeholders to adopt new technologies and ensure alignment and value delivery across various organizations within Ingka. Ultimately, your role contributes to the organization's growth and efficiency through continuous improvement, innovation, and effective technology implementation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in S4 HANA Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, with deep expertise in SAP MM, LO, LE, VIM modules
  • Working knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and integration touch points with Financial (FICO) & Sales and Distribution (SD) is highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of Integrations between Retail systems (legacy) and SAP backbone, troubleshooting, debugging codes
  • Profound understanding of SAP Retail business processes, specifically procure to pay processes and inventory management in retail industry
  • Track record of working in a similar role and delivering impactful results
  • Experience in creating, reviewing & maintaining key solution delivery artifacts
