Job Description

The Senior Relationship Manager is a senior-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The Senior Relationship Manager also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Expand a local and regional portfolio of accounts on Chinese parented multinational corporate clients
  • Nurture existing client relationships to become a trusted advisor
  • Identify customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Cross-sell banking products
  • Responsible for all credit aspects of the relationship
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made
  • Deliver the annual budgeted revenue growth
  • Coordinate with China PAM and assist local country SAM bankers
  • Implement calling plans to ensure business development
  • Manage delivery of Citi's global network
  • Maximize deal origination and replication around network solutions
  • Focus on China - MEA corridor on driving China Desk portfolio
  • Ensure full compliance with internal and regulatory policies

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of credit analytics and financial modelling
  • Proven expertise in Risk assessment and valuation
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
