An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sub Project Manager to join the TDA Project Management Team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established team working on an emerging project at Sellafield. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment to deliver a project of national importance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, multi-disciplinary project teams, and the Client on a fast-paced project.
Job Responsibility:
Project Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and governance structure to ensure successful project delivery
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure roles are clear and deliverables are achieved efficiently
Budget & Resource Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective execution
Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively managing issues and change requests
Schedule & Quality Control: Track project progress against timelines and ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards
Communication & Reporting: Provide regular status updates, performance reports, and maintain accurate project documentation
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all project activities comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role within engineering, construction, or nuclear sectors
Strong working knowledge of reporting and planning methodologies
Good communication and organisational skills and capable of driving project updates with the planning and cost engineers
A positive can-do attitude, excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse project teams
Must hold appropriate Security Clearance (SC and British Sole National) and be a Sellafield pass holder
Nice to have:
Experience with IWM (Integrated Work Management)
