Sub Assembly Technician

• Maintain and oversee all sub-assemblies including gearbox and differential
• Ensure all lifeing records are maintained and updated throughout the event year
• Support on all events as needed, providing sub assembly and car build support for Dakar and Cross-Country events
• Ensure that the assemblies & vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to them
• Ensure all problems are reported through to engineering or the management team as necessary
• Coordinate the department’s day to day workload
• Supervise the Sub Assembly team on event and at the factory
• Worldwide travel is an essential part of this role and can be up to 3 weeks per event

• Previous experience in a similar Sub Assembly role within Motorsport
• Good knowledge of gearbox, transmission and motorsport sub assemblies
• Ideally with cross country or previous Dakar experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Team player and a good communicator with teammates, engineers and management
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible approach
• Preparedness to work overtime as dictated by the demands of the business
