Job Description:

Sub Agent – Civils / Water Infrastructure (Outside IR35). Looking to step up and take real ownership on a major water infrastructure programme? This is a fast-moving opportunity for a Sub Agent who wants to run work packages end-to-end and be part of a long-term pipeline of work. You’ll be joining a high-performing delivery team working across a major AMP 7 & AMP 8 framework, initially supporting works on a key live site, with further projects lined up across multiple locations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage pipeline, shaft and heavy civils works on site
  • Oversee trial holes and provide accurate feedback into design
  • Coordinate pipeline surveys and confined space activities
  • Support partial shaft and pipeline construction works
  • Take full ownership of assigned packages from planning through to delivery
  • Work closely with Site Agents, PMs and engineering teams
  • Supervise engineers and subcontractors on site
  • Provide clear, concise reporting to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering background with relevant qualifications
  • Experience delivering heavy civils, pipelines, shafts or similar works
  • Ability to run your own section of works with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Driven, disciplined and keen to progress
  • SMSTS (essential)
  • CSCS (ideally Black Card)
  • Confined Spaces
  • EUSR (advantageous)
  • First Aid (desirable)
