We are seeking a freelance Sub Agent with major civil project experience to join a highly regarded Tier 1 contractor. This is a long-term contract working on significant civil works, offering a stable and rewarding opportunity. ... Looking for candidates with rail, highways, utilties or aviation experience. If you'd like to secure a long-term freelance role with a top-tier contractor and a great team, this could be the role for you. This role is inside of IR35 so you will need to be Randstad PAYE or Umbrella PAYE.

Job Responsibility

  • Creating detailed methodology and constructability reports
  • Conducting and overseeing on-site surveys
  • Contributing to the pre-construction process to ensure project success
  • Collaborating closely with project management and on-site teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a freelance Sub Agent, ideally within a pre-construction and civil works setting
  • A solid background in the rail sector
  • The ability to produce high-quality technical reports
  • A long-term mindset, ready to commit to a substantial contract
  • The flexibility to work from our London office three days a week and from home for the remaining two
  • A valid CSCS card, SSSTS or SMSTS

Nice to have
