Job Description:

Provide tailored one-to-one academic support to university students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) at the University of Liverpool, fostering confidence and independence in learning through personalised strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Develop independent study habits and academic confidence
build personalised learning strategies
improve organisation and time management skills
create and follow structured action plans
enhance research skills using credible sources
understand and use referencing methods correctly

Requirements:

Membership with British Dyslexia Association (BDA) or Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE) or Dyslexia Guild or PATOSS
ability to travel to the University of Liverpool campus
strong communication and interpersonal skills
professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
good organisational skills
experience working with individuals with SpLDs

Nice to have:

Experience working with individuals with SpLDs
ability to create a positive, student-led support environment
