Randstad Student Support are recruiting for Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Workers to work with autistic students studying at University of Lincoln. The role will begin in September for the new academic year (2026/2027) and is a hybrid role. All successful candidates must be able to travel to the local University or college and offer both in person and online sessions flexibly to meet student preferences. As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you will provide learning support and academic guidance. This includes creating an individual learning plan that has been tailored to the student's needs and encourages them to become an independent learner.
Job Responsibility
Provide learning support and academic guidance
Create an individual learning plan tailored to the student's needs

Support students to develop independence
Support students to build on strengths and learning strategies
Support students to create strategies around organisation and time management
Support students to create action plans to stay on track with studies
Support students to build on research skills
Support students to distinguish appropriate sources and how to correctly use references
Support students to build on comprehension skills within reading and writing
Requirements
qualified to undergraduate degree level (level 6 as minimum)
have a teaching qualification
have taken extensive training in adult autism
must be able to travel to the local University or college
must be able to offer both in person and online sessions flexibly to meet student preferences

Experience of working with autistic clients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage a caseload of students
