Job Description:

Randstad Student Support are recruiting for Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Workers to work with autistic students studying at Universities and/or Colleges. The role is set to start soon and is a hybrid role. All successful candidates must be able to travel to the local University or college and flexibly offer both in person and online sessions to meet student preferences. As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you will provide learning support and academic guidance. This includes creating an individual learning plan tailored to the student's needs that encourages them to become an independent learner.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to undergraduate degree level (level 6 as minimum)
  • have a teaching qualification
  • taken extensive training in adult autism

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify ways of helping students to build on their learning strengths whilst maintaining a confidential and professional working relationship
