Job Description:

A Secondary School in Brent searching for a Study Assistant / Academic Tutor for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time position supporting students aged 11-19 in accessing various learning resources. The role involves working closely with families to support student attainment, supervising students with identified needs, assisting with Individual Education Plans, and promoting inclusion and self-esteem among students.

Job Responsibility:

Support students aged 11-19 in accessing a range of learning resources and information
Play a leading role in working alongside families of identified students to support their progress and attainment
Supervise and provide support for students, including those with identified needs
Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
Establish constructive relationships with students and interact according to individual needs
Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence

Requirements:

Strong academic background
Educated to undergraduate level at a minimum
Passion for education, learning, and high achievement
