Job Description:

Study Assistant/Academic Tutor position at a Secondary School in Haringey supporting students aged 11-19 in accessing learning resources and information to aid their studies in an independent working environment.

Job Responsibility:

Support students aged 11-19 in accessing learning resources
Play a leading role in working alongside families of identified students to support their progress
Supervise and provide support for student/s, including those with identified needs
Assist with development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
Establish constructive relationships with students
Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities
Set challenging expectations and promote self-esteem and independence

Requirements:

Strong academic background
Educated to undergraduate level at a minimum
Passion for education, learning and high achievement

What we offer:

£110-120 per day
Term-time only contract
