The Studio ID Intern will play a vital role in supporting our physical security operations by executing detailed procedures for badge and access management, as outlined in department guidelines. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in security operations within a dynamic studio environment.
Job Responsibility:
Badge and Access Management: Execute detailed procedures for managing badge requests and access levels, ensuring compliance with department guidelines
Profile Management: Manage staff profiles and production details within the access control system, ensuring profiles use legal names, unique email addresses, and accurately reflect production activation/expiration dates
Badge Request Processing: Process all badge requests submitted through the Studio ID Portal, meticulously validating photo submissions to ensure they meet mandated requirements, such as being in JPEG format, showing the cardholder only, and featuring a blank or non-distracting background
System Setup and Configuration: Perform initial badge setup in the Lenel system, configure base and group access levels, manage access activation and end dates, and follow protocols for restricted access levels
Deactivation Procedures: Execute comprehensive deactivation procedures, ensuring badges are assigned the correct status (e.g., "Lost," "Non-Op/Broken," "Returned," or "Inactive")
Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks, ensuring all input data is correct and validated. Assist with the activation and deactivation of badge credentials, ensuring these processes are completed accurately and in accordance with outlined procedures
Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
Current class standing of sophomore, (second-year college student) or above
Strong academic record
Committed and available to work for the entire length of the program
Access to own housing and transportation to/from the assigned internship site
Must be able to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA
Must demonstrate knowledge of the company and media industry
Are required to provide a copy of an unofficial transcript or letter from the adviser/registrar showing proof of enrollment and GPA

Nice to have:
Currently pursuing a degree or career in Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Business Administration, Security Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Communications, or Public Administration is preferred
Familiarity with access control systems and security protocols is a plus

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
