Eastern Kentucky University is hiring student Community Forestry Tree Crew members to participate in a hands-on, workforce training program focused on tree planting, care, and education/outreach. Student crew members will receive paid on-the-job training in tree identification, planting and maintenance, tree nursery operations, and community outreach, working alongside faculty, staff, and community partners. The position is designed for students interested in natural resource management, environmental science, agriculture, GIS, environmental education, and related fields. No prior experience required, training will be provided. Applicants must be full-time EKU students and be able to perform outdoor fieldwork. This is a paid, grant-funded position with the opportunity for professional skill development, applied experience, and the chance to make a positive impact on campus and in the local community.
Job Responsibility:
