As a Student Support Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for students needing help with their studies! You’ll provide answers and information in a range of different situations, helping students stay on track to achieve their dreams. You’ll put the student at the center of everything you do while you build your own skills to further your career in education.
Job Responsibility:
Offering ongoing support for our students during and after enrolment
Going above and beyond to deliver a memorable student experience every time
Motivating students to continue their studies and championing the best outcome for them
Respond to and triage student support needs by telephone and via email as appropriate as first point of contact
Management of data entry and our online filing and archiving systems
Maintenance of integrity and accuracy of student data
Preparing enrolment information packs
Requirements:
Strong student focus and an understanding of what it is like to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time
High level of empathy and adaptability as well as a positive attitude towards challenges
Problem solving skills and experience in providing exceptional customer experience & service in a high volume role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to explain complex information in a simple way
Experience with Synergetics/SEQTA systems highly regarded
Working with Children Check (WWCC) and RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect training) essential
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Previous Administration experience essential
Nice to have:
