We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant to join a team in Lingfield. In this role, you will provide crucial support to students in both their residential and educational settings. They are a non-maintained residential special school for ages 5-25, offering innovative and creative education for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including epilepsy, autism, severe learning difficulties, and communication challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to student success
Assisting students in accessing personalised learning, both one-on-one and in groups
Promoting independence among students
Contributing to student records and reports with teachers and specialist staff
Supporting students in their residential settings and participating in various meetings
Handling administrative tasks
Ensuring high standards of hygiene and welfare for students
