Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant to join a team in Lingfield. In this role, you will provide crucial support to students in both their residential and educational settings. This school is part of a leading national charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions. They are a non-maintained residential special school for ages 5-25, offering innovative and creative education for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including epilepsy, autism, severe learning difficulties, and communication challenges.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to student success
  • Assisting students in accessing personalised learning, both one-on-one and in groups
  • Promoting independence among students
  • Contributing to student records and reports with teachers and specialist staff
  • Supporting students in their residential settings and participating in various meetings
  • Handling administrative tasks
