University of the Arts London (UAL) is looking to appoint a Student Recruitment Officer (International) to lead on online international student recruitment and strengthening UAL's presence in key markets. The role sits within the International Student Recruitment team and includes responsibility for delivering impactful recruitment plans, contributing to wider team operations, and developing digital recruitment strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Lead on online international student recruitment
Strengthen UAL's presence in key markets
Deliver impactful recruitment plans in key markets
Contribute to wider team's recruitment operations
Develop team's digital recruitment strategy
Hold regional responsibility for recruitment activity across designated markets
Handle associated budgets
Ensure efficient use of resources to achieve recruitment objectives
Produce co-ordinated, data-driven plans for allocated markets and online activity
Bring together University's activity across full range of marketing channels
Support continuous improvements in student journey from enquiry to enrolment
Ensure compliance with UAL policy
Act as ambassador for University
Develop strong working relationships
Communicate clearly across diverse audiences
Influence internal and external stakeholders
Represent UAL at overseas events
Work closely with dedicated network of recruitment agents
Requirements:
Experience in higher education student recruitment
Understanding of the global student market
Knowledge of the creative arts context (ideal)
Experience managing market recruitment plans
Experience and interest in developing online recruitment activity
Confidence in working with digital platforms for student recruitment
Understanding of admissions processes, visa requirements and operational frameworks supporting international student recruitment
Ability to evaluate success and improve outcomes
Experience working with recruitment agents or external networks
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proven experience working both independently and within a team
Nice to have:
Knowledge of the creative arts context
Interest in widening access to opportunities and information through targeted and creative approach to online events
