University of the Arts London is seeking a strategic and creative marketer with a passion for higher education and the creative industries to help inspire and engage the next generation of artists, designers and innovators. Based within the Student Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help UAL achieve its student recruitment targets for pre-degree courses by engaging high-quality prospective students across both the UK and international markets
  • Champion a first-class student journey, guiding audiences from initial enquiry to application and enrolment
  • Ensure messaging remains clear, engaging and student focused
  • Using audience insight and data, plan, deliver and evaluate effective multichannel marketing campaigns for pre-degree courses
  • Optimise course web pages to support the student journey and increase applications
  • Identify content gaps and recommend editorial and multimedia solutions that meet the needs of prospective pre-degree students
  • Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of online and in-person recruitment events and activities
  • Help to engage domestic and international audiences and showcase UAL’s pre-degree provision in compelling and accessible ways
  • Weekend working for Open Days and other key recruitment activities

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, communications, PR, advertising, media, branding or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns, including paid search and social media advertising
  • Confident using website content management systems, SEO practices and CRM tools
  • Experience in creating high-quality marketing content assets across print and digital formats
  • Ability to monitor and interpret campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and in-platform reporting
  • Experience of planning and delivering recruitment events for student audiences
  • Confident working across digital media and marketing channels
  • Strong understanding of tracking technologies and analytics
  • Willingness to innovate in campaign development

  • Lead Management & Conversion: Manage the end-to-end recruitment funnel for domestic and international markets
  • Convert inquiries into applications and enrollments to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct in-depth consultations (in-person, virtual, phone, etc.) with prospective students and parents providing accurate information in a professional manner, matching their academic background and career goals with suitable UE programs
  • Ability to conduct bilingual consultations (English/Arabic), addressing the specific cultural and academic priorities of families in the region
  • Application Processing: Oversee the admissions process and manage associated queries for your leads, ensuring all documentation is collected, verified and processed in compliance with university admissions policies and regulations
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the lead-to-enrollment process using the CRM system, ensuring you regularly contact prospective students and/or parents through a structured communication plan
  • Utilize the CRM system to track daily activities, log student interactions and generate weekly performance forecasts
  • Progression & Conversion: Analyse qualifications of prospective students utilising established University admissions standards and take the lead on progression and referral activity for both internal and external audiences
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Sales Manager, Head of Student Recruitment and GUS executive team to analyze student recruitment figures and translate strategies into operational plans, while proactively optimizing departmental procedures and performance reporting to drive student growth
  • Events & Network Growth: Contribute to the planning and organization of campus open events, webinars and student visits, while proactively building a referral network among students and alumni to turn our "UE Family" into a powerful recruitment tool
