Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to work within a small team to deliver engaging recruitment and promotional events that drive student enrolment across all college cohorts (16–18, HE, adult learners, apprenticeships and more). You will play a key role in building strong relationships with schools, community partners and external organisations, while promoting the college’s offer through presentations, outreach activity, and innovative engagement experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan & Deliver Recruitment Events: Organise impactful internal and external events (e.g. open days, campus visits, school outreach) aligned with strategic priorities and subject areas
  • Promote College Offerings: Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to showcase college pathways, filling gaps in local education and training
  • Develop External Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community groups, and other partners, acting as the main contact for outreach efforts
  • Event Promotion: Collaborate with Marketing to promote events via digital, print, and social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging
  • Track & Evaluate Impact: Use data and the CRM system to monitor event performance, measure engagement, and inform continuous improvement
  • Co-ordinate with Colleagues: Work with a variety of stakeholders across the entire group including curriculum, student services, estates and other teams as required

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Maths and English
  • Experience of public speaking such as delivering presentations or workshops
  • Experience of working in an events related or marketing role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
