Job Description:

Interhuman AI builds social intelligence infrastructure that makes AI systems capable of understanding human behavior. Our API detects and interprets behavioral signals like hesitation, engagement, confusion, interest - across voice, facial expressions, body language, and words. We’re hiring a Student Assistant (15 hours/week) in Copenhagen to work closely with our AI engineering team on the practical foundations that make our models and evaluations improve week by week. This is a paid, hands-on role with real ownership and visible impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own a scoped project that upgrades how we collect, validate, or evaluate behavioral-signal data
  • Create a ‘gold slice’ benchmark (small but high-signal) to track improvements on the hard machine learning cases that matter
  • Improve consistency and auditability so results are trustworthy and repeatable
  • Ship practical tooling: contribute to internal scripts/utilities that make engineers faster

Requirements:

  • Comfortable with scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar) and can quickly prototype solutions to automate data processing tasks
  • Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • Comfortable figuring things out independently and don't need constant direction
  • Can explain technical concepts clearly in writing and speech
  • Good at prioritizing and balancing multiple tasks, and flexible when changes occur
What we offer:
  • Gain practical experience in AI/ML data operations at an early-stage startup
  • Input directly shapes product development
  • Flexible work-life balance
  • Possibility of more hours if interested
