On behalf of a leading and highly respected Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Randstad is seeking a motivated and proactive Student Liaison Officer for an immediate 8-week casual assignment. This is a fast-paced, high-impact temporary role designed for a relationship builder who can hit the ground running. If you love connecting with people, managing customer pipelines, and have a strong eye for RTO administration, this short-term assignment offers an excellent environment to showcase your skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for student enrolment enquiries, proactively contacting warm leads to maintain pipeline momentum
  • Enrolment Processing: Conduct comprehensive student enrolment interviews, assess funding eligibility, and guide applicants through compliance documentation, including Pre-Training Reviews and LLN assessments
  • Database & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate student records, update internal database systems, and follow up on outstanding documentation from applicants
  • Administration Support: Provide vital administrative support to trainers and campus staff, ensuring 100% compliance with enrolment paperwork requirements

Requirements

  • RTO Experience: Prior experience within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or the vocational training industry is highly valued
  • Compliance & Funding Knowledge: Familiarity with RTO compliance frameworks (such as ASQA and Skills First) and experience with student data entry
  • Sales & Communication Savvy: Proven experience in a sales, lead generation, or customer-centric administrative role
  • Systems Literacy: Proficient user of student management systems and standard CRM platforms
  • Personal Attributes: Exceptionally well-organised, resilient under pressure, and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
  • Credentials: A current Victorian Working with Children Check is essential
