Student intern

Providing project support for a broad range of critical initiatives as defined by leadership including projects related to operational and financial performance improvement, clinical quality, efficiency, safety improvements, strategic planning and business development, network development, program review and expansion, policy and government relations or any special project outlined by leadership

• Administrative and clerical support experience preferred
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Applicants with relevant hospital or managed care experience will be given preference
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Must have strong follow-through, initiative, and the ability to work independently
• Administrative experience in a healthcare environment preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled and expected to receive an bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study of internship program/department from an accredited undergraduate or graduate program

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
