While working under the supervision of the HR Admin/Manager and General Manager, the HR Intern will coordinate and administer various human resources programs such as compiling and maintaining all personnel records, pre-screening candidates, interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, hiring marketing campaigns, and assisting with new hire orientation.
Job Responsibility:
Contacts applicants to schedule interviews
May conduct student interviews
Assists with posting jobs and sourcing qualified candidates
Schedule new hire orientation
Schedule open interview sessions
Assists with new hire orientation, including paperwork
Maintain accurate employee files
Maintains bulletin board postings on campus
Performs other duties as necessary
Maintain a professional image
May speak at New Student Orientation about job opportunities
May table to recruit for student positions
May attend job fairs
Generates HR reports as assigned
Assist with Employee Recognition program
Other duties assigned by GM
Requirements:
Current Kutztown University student
Outgoing, reliable, and self-motivated
Strong communicator who enjoys working independently and as part of a team
Interest in HR
Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
