Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Student Funding Administrator to join the university this Summer 2026. The role offers an opportunity to join the Student Funding Administration team and play a key part in delivering UK student funding and financial support for a diverse student community.

Job Responsibility

  • Checking and processing data received from the Student Loans Company
  • Submitting registration and attendance confirmations
  • Processing Change of Circumstance notifications
  • Working with large data sets
  • Assessing supporting documentation
  • Calculating financial support entitlement
  • Supporting the delivery of a range of bursary and scholarship programmes

Requirements

  • Experience of working with student record systems such as SITS and the HEI portal is desirable but not essential
  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail
