Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Student Funding Administrator to join the university this Spring 2026. The role offers an opportunity to join the Student Funding Administration team and play a key part in delivering UK student funding and financial support for a diverse student community.

Job Responsibility:

  • checking and processing data received from the Student Loans Company, including submitting registration and attendance confirmations and processing Change of Circumstance notifications
  • working with large data sets, assessing supporting documentation and calculating financial support entitlement
  • supporting the delivery of a range of bursary and scholarship programmes

Requirements:

  • experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • experience of working with student record systems such as SITS and the HEI portal is desirable
  • excellent attention to detail
