Job Description

Reporting directly to the Controller, in this position you will assist in the maintenance of financial records and preparation of monthly financial reports. This position's hourly rate will be $21 to $22 per hour. We are looking for one student who can work out of the Hanover or Kemble office.

Job Responsibility

  • Compiles, sorts and codes invoices taking notice of dates, urgency and month end deadlines prior to submitting for approval to ensure that payments are processed efficiently and avoids late charges
  • Matches and reviews invoices against purchase orders and ensures the accuracy of charges and taxes to process timely payment of invoices
  • Assists, as required, with completing month end Financial Reports
  • Supports the production of various reports and analysis of data to help managers, supervisors, and senior management as well as responds to information requests
  • Reconciles the employee advance account to ensure expense reports are submitted and filed in a timely manner
  • Reports delinquent/late expense reports to supervisor
  • Performs additional administrative duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, tracking expenses, accounts verification, coding and applying payments, and preparing documents.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school graduation, or equivalent level of education, with one year of college courses in bookkeeping or office administration
  • A valid G Registration Ontario Driver’s Licence
  • Greater than six months but less than or equal to one year.
