We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Student Engagement Manager to join our Student Success Team. Job Responsibility:
Implement the College-wide Student Engagement and Retention Strategy
Lead a team of Student Engagement Officers, overseeing their coordination, performance and professional development
Act as a subject matter expert on student attendance and engagement
Work in partnership with colleagues across Registry, IT, academic schools and central services
Analyse data, influence strategic decision-making and drive improvements to support the continuation, completion and success of the diverse student body
Requirements:
Strong understanding of the needs of a diverse student body and current issues in the higher education sector
Knowledge of student attendance requirements and engagement policies
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple areas and lead a busy service
Experience using student record data and engagement management systems
Strong people manager, able to build a team and skilled at building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Confident communicator through a variety of media
