Job Description

Randstad is seeking highly qualified, BACP-accredited counsellors to provide specialised, clinical mental health support within the Higher Education sector in Bath. This hybrid role focuses on delivering professional, short-term, solution-focused therapeutic interventions, with students receiving 6 sessions. The pay rate for this position is £25-£28 per session (including note taking time) + £3.37 holiday pay accrued for every hour worked

Job Responsibility

  • Clinical Intervention: Provide tailored 1:1 counselling within a 6-session limit, focusing on short-term, solution-focused models for students in Bath
  • Hybrid Service Delivery: Manage a caseload consisting of both in-person sessions at the Bath campus and remote therapeutic work
  • Outcomes Monitoring: Systematically administer clinical outcome measures like CORE10 to monitor treatment effectiveness across all delivery modes
  • Safeguarding: Adhere to risk assessment and safeguarding protocols for both face-to-face and remote student interactions

Requirements

  • Accredited membership with BACP and experience in short-term therapeutic models
  • Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid capacity, including travel to Bath for in-person sessions
  • Proven ability to manage a regular caseload and adapt to session limits (max 6 per student)
