Job Description

The SMG Esports Arena at Keyano College is currently seeking one (1) Arena Attendant in a part-time role to assist with daily operations across various aspects in May and June. This is an hourly position that is expected to have up to 20 hours of work per week and occasionally includes weekends.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform daily inventory of esports arena
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment for arena guests
  • Onboard arena guests onto the ggLeap system and educate on pricing and payment methods
  • Run POS for equipment rentals (console games, controllers, locker codes, etc.)
  • Provide technical support for ggLeap platform and hardware troubleshooting
  • Provide event support for birthday parties, corporate rentals, school visits, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum (1) year of experience with facility or retail operations, esports or gaming experience, student service experience, and/or IT or technology-related experience
  • Minimum (1) year demonstrated involvement in the esports industry
  • Must be a currently registered full time credit student at Keyano College
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
